Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life...
{pretty}
While visiting my mom and dad last Saturday we discovered that this cutie likes to smile for the camera. She's trying so hard to smile for the camera. She was having a great time playing with the vintage little people, too.

The girls had a lot of fun on Sunday when their aunt came for a visit. She brought them funny St. Patrick's day headbands. Madeline used her's for her outfit at school today and won a prize. Ellie wore her crazy springy shamrock antennae to school today since they were allowed to dress down for St. Patrick's day, and Katie she just LOVES her green pigtails. She's alternating between this headband and her princess crown. I think she looks like Cindy-Lou Who with them. Their aunt had brought balloons for the girls to release as part of a random act of kindness. They attached $5 bills and a note to the balloons before releasing them. The balloons climbed pretty high (higher than the passing airplanes) before we lost sight of them.
{funny}
Can you stand the cuteness of this silly little girl? You should see her bounce around with this headband on. She thinks knows she's hilarious.

Habemus Papam! I snapped this one on my iPad as I watched the live feed. I was so excited and in a bit of shock that the smoke was white that I didn't take any other pictures.
Visit Like Mother, Like Daughter for more pictures of contentment.
