Nerds such as myself will delight in Caroline Taggart's I Used to Know That. The hard cover book (also available in an e-book) is packed with lots of information you probably learned in school but have forgotten along the way.
This book is yet another from the Reader's Digest reference series. I'd say that while this book is geared to the adult reader, it would be a great reference book for older middle school students and high schoolers as well. The book covers a wide range of topic such as English, literature, math, science, history, geography and general studies. I found some of the sections rather engaging, particularly the history portion. The math section made my head hurt. Looking at much of what is in that section reminded me of what I used to know but have mercifully forgotten. Proof that ignorance can be bliss.
This would certainly be a fun book to have sitting on your bookshelf. You could read it simply to see what you have or haven't forgotten over the years.
I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book by FSB Media in exchange for my honest review.
