{Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real}

Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life...

I feel like I'm a week behind here.  Our past two and a half weeks have been hectic and just very stressful.  First the baby was sick, then Bryan went on a business trip, then Ellie had a playground accident and now we are getting ready for Ellie's First Holy Communion which is in just two days!  So you, dear readers, are going to look at some week old pictures because I didn't take a single picture with my camera this week didn't have time last week to do a {p,h,f,r} post.

{Pretty}
I'm happy with how Ellie's First Holy Communion banner turned out.  Ellie wasn't interested in decorating the banner so I made it and she gave her input for what she thought looked nice.  The little flower on the bottom has a sticker on it that says "This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Ps 118.24"
And this is my favorite shot from Ellie's First Communion portraits.

{Happy}
Katie was having a good time pretending to walk an exhausted Oscar.  She loves leading the dog around on his leash.

{Funny}
While Bryan was in Denver he went on Face Time with Katie each morning so she could see him.  She likes to grab the iPhone or iPad and walk around with her Daddy.  On this particular morning she took him for a little walk in her baby doll carriage.

{Real}
We made fleur de lis cookies using my new cookie press to celebrate the feast of the Annunciation.  The girls enjoyed decorating the press cookies, and Katie enjoyed eating them.  The cookies matched one of my favorite statues quite nicely.
