{Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real}

Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life...
{Pretty}
Katie found a Cinderella crown in my closet and has decided that it's rightful place is on her head.

{Happy}
Our parish started a traveling statue of Our Lady of Fatima campaign where families host the statue for a week and pray the rosary.  I believe there are several of these statues circulating among the religious and and parish school classes.  Ellie was really happy when she came home from school on Tuesday with it.  Ellie is very proud that we have "the prettiest statue of Mary" residing on our dining room table for the week.  I may have to look into getting her one of her very own for Easter or her first communion.

{Funny}
This poor dog really puts up with a lot from Katie.  She was determined to have him wear this princess crown this morning.  Bryan helped her out since she's not exactly gentle and I was convinced that she was going to blind the poor animal if she poked him in the eye with the combs for the crown one more time.  Oscar is such a glutton for punishment.

{Real}
Look at how perfect this grilled cheese turned out.  I mentioned to Bryan the other night how perfectly toasted the sandwich was and he agreed so we took a picture.  Katie liked it, too.

Visit Like Mother, Like Daughter for more pictures of contentment.
